Hello and welcome to the very first edition of The Fuller Lab Newsletter!
The story of The Fuller Lab started years ago in fact. A bunch of friends, connected by the shared trauma joy that is fatherhood, came together to start The New Dad’s Journal in December 2019. It was our fledgling effort to collectively make sense of this wonderful journey, and to develop and to share the wisdom that we painstakingly gained through blood, sweat, tears and diaper changes.
Fast forward 6 years later, what started out as a fun project to regain some sense of sanity bloomed into something bigger - The Fuller Lab. Borne out of the same hope: that parenting could be a space not just of duty, but of connection, growth, and deep emotional well-being. From quiet conversations about our own children — their joys, their worries, their need to be seen and heard — grew a shared conviction: that there is real power in strengthening the bond between parent and child.
That conviction is what drives us, day after day. At The Fuller Lab, we design and develop evidence-based products, content, and programs specifically for families with children aged 5 to 12. Our goal is simple but profound: to help families build stronger relationships, support better mental health, and nurture sustainable learning habits.
Our vision is that every family — regardless of background or circumstance — can create a home where children feel connected, supported, and empowered to grow. We believe in the importance of giving children the emotional roots they need, while equipping parents with tools grounded in research and real-life care.
Thank you for joining us on this journey. We’re honoured to have you with us — and we look forward to sharing more content, ideas, and support in the months ahead.
Warmly,
The Fuller Lab Team
